I've always heard good things about this place and I finally got to try it the other day, and now I know why people say good things about Wayne's Bagels. My girlfriend got the Montreal smoked meat morning bagel and I got the smoked turkey and avocado, both were delicious and the best bagel sandwiches we've ever had. The quality and freshness of the ingredients was great. We also tried their flavoured cream cheese, cinnamon and brown sugar on a plain bagel and it was heavenly. The food is great but in my honest opinion I think it's a little expensive for what it is no matter how amazing it was, one bagel sandwich cost around $10-15 and the portion could be a little bigger too since their bagels is on the smaller side.

I absolutely love Wayne’s Bagels! It’s our go-to spot for breakfast or brunch, and my partner and I always look forward to coming here. The bagels on their menu are delicious, and they offer a great variety of both sweet and savory options.
One of my absolute favorites is the maple pecan cream cheese. It’s so rich, creamy, and decadent—a must-try if you’re in the mood for something sweet. It’s like having a dessert for breakfast!
For savory bagels, our favorite is the chicken pesto on a rosemary bagel. The combination is just perfect. We’ve also tried the smoked meat Mighty Bagel, which is tasty but quite large and a bit messy. Regardless of what you choose, you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients they use.
While the bagels are on the pricey side, I believe they’re worth every penny. The flavors and quality make it a worthwhile treat.
The shop itself is quite small, with limited seating, and there can be a bit of a wait as they prepare each bagel fresh. However, the wait is always worth it for the delicious food. If you’re looking for authentic Montreal-style bagels, I would 100% recommend Wayne’s Bagels. Just be prepared for a cozy, intimate dining experience.

This is a great little place downtown to grab a quality bagel. I've tried a couple of their bagels and particularly liked the ham and cheese bagel, which I waited until lunchtime to eat, and was still great! The thing that's Wayne's does the best is obviously the bagel. On top (and bottom) of everything else, the bagel shines through. Super soft with a nice crisped outer layer, no matter which bagel you choose, it is sure to leave you wanting another.

We visited this establishment on many occasions when we visited MEC; unfortunately, this visit had to be the worst experience, and will most likely never return.
I purchased two salmon classics; like I have done so in the past. And, like we have done so in the past; we waited to enjoy our sandwiches once we got home to our home in Cochrane. What we received was salmon that stunk once you placed it close enough to your mouth. Literally made me want to throw up. I even left a tip; thinking it would be like always. No paper wrapping like last month, no pickle like last month; and the salmon was also from last month it seems. Very disappointed in the service as well. Perhaps you need to lower the music so that your employees can hear the correct orders as well. 40 + tip down the drain with this order. We'll done!
AMBER! This is in reference to your reply; as I am unable to reply to your comment you left for me to contact you at the number you provided. I have called three times and have left my contact number for you to contact me. I would appreciate a call back as per our reply to my review.

Heard really good reviews of this place so had to try it out. The bagel selection was extensive and some really good options. The sandwich options were also good. I had the salmon one and it was splendid. My friend also had the tuna one which was good too! The cream cheese does taste very fresh.
However, the coffee is mediocre and would suggest getting coffee from somewhere else. The service was slow and there isn’t much space to sit and eat.
