Sweet Impressions is highly impressive! They offer a wide variety of delicious sweet treats that accommodate those with nut allergies and other dietary restrictions. Their products are uniquely designed and created, and taste as good as they look! The Salted Caramel cupcake is my favourite. Beautifully packaged, their sweet treats are suitable for gifting. I frequently order their Birthday Boxes. I appreciate their attention to detail in striving for excellence in both their products and customer service. The staff is polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. The atmosphere of their shop is magical and whimsical, transporting you into a fairytale land from a storybook. I fully expect a sugar plum fairy to come pirouetting through the shop! After shopping here for 10+ years and sampling many of their sweet offerings, I can recommend them with complete confidence. Update: The company did reach out after I sent an e-mail with our order number to rectify the situation.

They sent a new box, with their new wedding sampler mini cakes. These were much better than the cupcakes we had; the icing was smooth and had a creamy texture, there was no chunks in it at all. The carrot cake was moist and the cream cheese filling was yummy. The vanilla berry was our favourite again, it was moist and the raspberry filling is delicious, I could eat that alone by the spoonful. The red velvet was alright, not our favourite but a good texture. The salted caramel cake we did find to be a bit dry and still not our favourite flavour.

Overall the cakes were a much better experience than we originally had, and the response from Krista (owner) was very pleasant.

Original Review: We ordered the wedding cake tasting box as we are getting married at the end of the year, it comes with 4 of the luxe cupcakes with sugar cookies on top. It came packaged beautifully and the cupcakes looked very nice. Sadly all of the cupcakes were hard on the outside, very dry inside and crumbled as we cut them/bit into them. The tops came off and were almost crunchy? I am not sure if they were old but they were not good.

The cookies and cream, and salted caramel flavours had a very weird taste to them. The icing for the cookies and cream flavour has strange white soft chewy bits. All together the icing is a really off putting texture, and had no flavour what so ever, we ended up scraping it all off.

The best part was the raspberry compote in the vanilla cupcake. Overall this was extremely disappointing for a $8.75 cupcake.

I have ordered birthday cakes many times from Sweet Impressions and they are always AMAZING🧡 This last one was extra special because it was my dad’s 80th. The cake was amazing and the cookie topper turned out perfect!

I always order my daughter's birthday cake/cupcakes and they always look perfect and taste delicious! We also buy cookies from time to time and they are all so cute and tasty! My daughter is allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts and I feel very comfortable ordering for her and knowing it will be 100% safe! Highly recommend! ❤️🎂🍪

Good selection of vegan sweets (cookies and cupcakes) at Sweet Impressions, which were all very tasty (you can do speciak orders too). The location is super close to my mom, I'm really glad we found out they had some options for us, as there's a real lack of vegan food in Winnipeg. Even better, when it's also really good that's a double bonus. Every flavour was good so just go with whatever you prefer, we tried one of everything, which included chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, all yum!
