Friend Bakery and Pizza

Excellent service, excellent pizza. Great local beverages to go with them. I think it should be on every pizza heads top 10 in the country. IMO best in Winnipeg by a fair margin. Sorry not sorry Shortys.

Best sourdough in the city. Also finally got to try their pizza, which was very good and surprisingly didn’t get soggy on the way home. Don’t forget about their amazing olive oil cake too. Definitely worth the trip!

Excellent staff all 3 visits! For me the babka is the way to go in the morning. The pepperoni pizza in the evening.

Absolutely loved their pizza. I have tried many different pizzas and absolutely loved this one. The crust, the cheese everything was so perfect. Definitely will be going more often.

I had a pepperoni danish here a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been thinking about it near-daily ever since. It was incredibly light and flaky, like DANGEROUSLY flaky, but also somehow so savoury and tomatoey, evoking pizza without being heavy or soggy. It was just a really flippin’ good danish. Highly recommend.
