Cocoabeans Gluten Free

I have been shopping around for gluten-free sweets and was happy to find this place. I tried a couple of their cupcakes. The chocolate strawberry was moist, not too dense for gluten-free, and had a nice light icing. The vanilla coconut cupcake was a little drier but still okay. I'd definitely come back to try some more sweets here. There was a good variety of breads and frozen foods here as well. Will definitely be back in the future.

A wonderful gluten free bakery with a variety of items. There were cookies, brownies in a cup mix, gingerbread house kits and plenty of savoury items including lasagna and pot pies. If you’re missing baked goods after going gluten free, they have plenty to choose from. My daughter was thrilled to have a Boston cream donut!

Small take out bakery and everything is Gluten Free! I got the sourdough baguette for my celiac friend's birthday party and it was great. Heated up in the oven for 10 mins and it was soft in the middle and crispy on the outside, but not too dense. Had a great sourdough flavour, perfect for the dip I made. No seating, just for take out.

I always pick up my supply of bread here and a variety of baked goods like bars,muffins and cookies. All delicious and high quality and guaranteed gluten free for a loved one in my family with celiac. Grateful to have this dedicated gluten free bakery nearby!

Learned about Cocoabeans on a morning news TV show. Went there on a Saturday to buy GF bread: 1 sourdough and 1 prairie grain. I knew at $11.50 each these were far more than Costco or other retailers. But the quality / taste / texture was much less than I expected from a specialist in these items. They were quite hard, stiff and unpleasant taste. Also, by Tuesday the sourdough loaf was showing green mold so not sure how long they were on the shelf. Disappointing and expensive experience.

Thanks for fast response. We were the only customers in the store at the time, I mentioned I was hoping for better than box store, and no comment or instructions were given regarding freezer, storage, shelf life or anything. That might have been helpful
